Paragliding

Pokhara is one of the world’s well-known tandem paragliding valleys: lake, city, and a wall of 8,000-metre peaks in the same glance. Classic flights launched from the Sarangkot ridge and landed on the Phewa shore (Khapaudi). After Pokhara International Airport opened on 1 January 2023, take-off and landing sites were moved for airspace; they have since been allowed back toward the old ridge-and-shore pattern, with hours set by the aviation authority. Confirm the day’s launch with the operator, not with a blog.
